Chris Miller is the Head of Growth Capital Strategies. He has over 20 years of experience in private credit, private equity, and investment banking. He joined Stel at its founding in 2012 and has been with D. E. Shaw Group since 2004. Prior to joining D. E. Shaw Group, he worked in private equity and investment banking, including positions at Bain Capital, Morgan Stanley, and Robertson Stephens. Chris Miller received a bachelor’s degree in economics, cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

María joined Stel in 2012 at its founding and has been with D. E. Shaw Group since 2006. Prior to joining D. E. Shaw Group, Maria worked as a business consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP, BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), and Pannell Kerr Forster in Texas. Maria received a Master of Finance degree, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
